These programs do not include admission to My Big Backyard.
Go on a butterfly hunt, learn all about those hungry caterpillars with a fun dress-up story, create a pretty “painted lady” butterfly, and take home your own wildflower planting!
Buzz through the Garden and see these busy insects in action, taste different types of honey, practice “bee-ing” safe around bees, and learn about bee body parts, as you assemble your own bee puppet!
Tip-toe through the tulips, (or whatever is in bloom!) create a "kool" flower, and plant your own flower seeds to take home
Learn the difference between fruits and veggies that you eat every day. Students will make a veggie puppet and plant a piece of the garden to take home. Brought to you by Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation.
Learn all about these critters that wiggle their way through the dirt. Go on a worm hunt, hold a real worm and take home a worm craft.

The natural world is the classroom for your students at the Memphis Botanic Garden!
Charges for programs include an instructor to lead your group, supplies for exciting take-home projects, Garden admission, and a chance to picnic in our Pine Grove (tables are first come, first served, so you may want to bring blankets.)
We have a minimum registration of 15 students for all programs, excluding educational events/festivals. You may schedule a program for fewer students, but you will be expected to pay for 15.
We require a $75 deposit for all programs, due two weeks before the program date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your program.
Checks should be written for the number of students who actually come that day and made payable to Memphis Botanic Garden. Cash and credit cards are also accepted.
We must be notified of cancellations or considerable changes in number of students at least 2 weeks before your scheduled program.
To cancel, please call 901-636-4126 & email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are registered for a tour and decide not to come due to inclement weather, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can notify instructors. We will be happy to reschedule your visit for the next available date that your students can enjoy the Garden, or we can refund your deposit if you can't work out an alternative date.
