MBG is hosting Origami in the Garden! These larger- than- life sculptures will be on display at the Memphis Botanic Garden September 24 - March 22, 2018.
Throughout the exhibit we will offer self-guided tours, guided tours, classes and a Japanese Festival . Origami benefits students by offering behavioral skills, multi-cultural awareness, community building, cognitive development, cooperative learning and a link to math. Students will learn the practical applications of origami, origami in nature, the botanical connections of origami and so much more. Through a generous sponsorship from International Paper, Speer Charitable Trust, Belz Family Foundation, and Goldsmith Family Foundation, we are happy to be able to offer a limited number of scholarships for schools that might not otherwise be able to attend.
These scholarships will be given on a first come first served basis and are offered for a menu of programs. Prices not guaranteed until scholarship is processed.
