Four Seasons Garden #mbgfourseasons
Fountains are the main focus of this garden accessed directly outside of the East doors exiting the Visitors Center. This is a formal garden designed in the classical style. Dwarf Buford Hollies and Carolina Hornbeams provide the formal structure for everchanging seasonal displays. These displays are meant to introduce visitors to uncommonly used plant selections and uncommon palettes of commonly used plants. At the end of this garden is the lushly planted Tram Bed with the Little Hunter Boy sculpture under an arbor planted with evergreen Akebia ('Chocolate Vine').
PLEASE READ FOUNTAIN RULES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE. Thanks!
A Note About The Four Seasons Fountains
Please note visitors are not allowed IN the water of the Four Seasons Fountains for their own safety. It is ok, as seen here, to sit on the edge and dangle hands and feet into the fountain, but with extreme caution! Parents MUST SUPERVISE their children around the fountains at all times; especially if children are on the edge of the fountain. Please no walking around the raised edge of the fountains, or running on the ground around fountains. THANK YOU!
