From Phillip Watson: My talk is titled, GARDEN MAGIC, and will feature images of gardens I have designed including cottage environs, vast estates, Versailles-type parterres, water features, fanciful pathways and patios, bountiful flower borders, container plantings, woodland situations, and my own private retreat. My book, GARDEN MAGIC, will be available for purchase and signing. My first book, PLEASURE GARDENS, will also be available.I received my degree in horticulture from Mississippi State University and enjoyed continuing education in the Netherlands, France, and England where I was mentored by English garden doyenne, Rosemary Verey. I was born In Lexington, Mississippi, birthplace of the 4-H Club, and credit that upbringing with much of my inspiration. For the past eighteen years, I have been a garden expert and presenter on QVC for Cottage Farms Nursery. Phillip Watson Designs Inc. is my garden design firm with clients from Mississippi to Manhattan and from Palm Beach to Aspen. Publications include the aforementioned books as well as pieces in Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, and Veranda.
