March 4 – 31.
Visitors Center. Memphis Botanic Garden.

Spellings is a West Tennessee artist who has earned numerous awards including signature status in seven regional Watercolor Societies. Her work is included in numerous public collections across the South.  She is co-founder of 'Art in the Village', a cooperative gallery in Jackson, Tennessee that offers educational opportunities and exhibition space for thirty artists.  Mary captures the light and feeling of her everyday world with a deeply spiritual artist's eye.  “Things that move me...the smile of a child, thoughtful lines etched on faces, chipped paint, weathered surfaces, and historic buildings...they all are part of the beauty of God's creation.”

Meet Mary Spellings and learn about her work at her reception on Sunday, March 10 from 2-4 pm.
