Memphis Botanic Garden map

Description:

This spring, Memphis Botanic Garden has transformed the planted beds in front of our Visitors Center into a smorgasbord of Swedish-style botanicals. With a bold nod to the mixed forests of Sweden, the display features Dwarf Alberta Spruce, Japanese Black Pine, and Himalayan Birch. Similar to the treeless elevations of northern Sweden, the Garden’s pseudo-Alpine meadow features Alpine Squill, Snake Head Lily, Lungwort, European Columbine, Glory of the Snow, and Dwarf River Birch.

Visit the Garden any time during regular hours, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and learn more about this seasonal display, with interpretive signage identifying plants and blooms as they progress through the end of May.
