Memphis Botanic Garden Recognized Globally as a Must-Visit

Here at the Memphis Botanical Garden we pride ourselves in offering a space in which locals and visitors alike can create, reflect, and give back to our wonderful community- and nothing pleases us more than receiving global recognition for our efforts.

Last week, Flight Network, Canada’s leading online international travel agency, listed our Botanic Garden amongst just 17 other local establishments as an absolute must-see during a flying visit to Memphis.

The List

Anyone who has visited our vibrant city will agree that fitting everything that Memphis has to offer into just a few days isn’t easy. It was for this reason that Flight Network’s travel industry experts took to the challenge of creating an unforgettable 72 hours in Memphis by scouring the city’s best restaurants, bars, hotels, galleries, and cultural spaces.

The result? A blues, brews, and art-filled itinerary made up of only the most bucket-list-worthy destinations in Memphis. The most wonderful part? We made the cut!

Why us?

Warning readers that a quick visit can soon turn into a “full day of strolling, creating, and reflecting”, the travel journalist speaks of Memphis Botanic Garden as the perfect place to step away from the hustle-and-bustle of the city, and a collaborative space to connect with a local community of artists and passionate environmentalists.

Our 31 speciality gardens have been described as “serene”, and our “strong focus” on environmental and community projects praised. In our hearts we’ve always known it, but today we can safely say: Memphis Botanic Garden really is a very special place.

Say Hello

With our newly-announced “must-visit” status, we are as excited as ever to welcome new guests to our beautiful grounds.

Whether you want to take part in one of our creative workshops or simply fancy a stroll through one of our lovingly-designed gardens, come and visit us for a day you won’t forget.
