"Arboreal Effulgence" by Miriam Oliphant at Fratelli's Cafe Gallery

All images of art courtesy of the artist: Ethereal Serenity, mixed media $395

About the Show in Miriam's words:

I admire trees in all their radiant splendor, their effulgence. A symbol of life and humanity, they have much to offer us. Trees are amazing microcosms of exchange and flow of water, nutrients, gases and good energy. With sustenance from the earth, cooling water, refreshing air and the light of the sun, they grow in stature and strength and eventually blossom into full flower and fruit. They are firmly grounded by their roots to the earth. Yet for all their solidness, they teach us about flexibility. They sway with the wind, always reaching up toward the heavens and the light, trying to touch back to the source. I see in trees the light of the Creator. I explore this in the various forms you see here, by reusing found papers and materials, which often started out as trees.
