Japanese Garden Open House

         Members of the Memphis Botanic Garden recently enjoyed a nice fall evening in the Japanese Garden of Tranquility (Seijaku-En). As traditional Japanese music played in the background, guests enjoyed a candlelit walk around this Garden, giving visitors a chance to learn more about the folklore and symbolism behind the design as the sun set. Blecken Pavilion in the Fall

  As the seasons change and we long for cooler weather and colorful leaves, our horticultural staff is preparing to make new changes to the Hydrangea Garden. Our Hydrangea Garden was installed in the spring of 2007 and now surrounds the Blecken Pavilion.
