Signs of Autumn

Even though our long summer drought has been interrupted by recent rains it is good to be aware that wasps and other stinging insects are irritable and defensive at this time of year. Dry weather, shorter days and a small supply of nectar all added together make them ready to sting if you invade their space. It's all about 901 on 9/01

What a great morning! It started a little earlier than usual for me, but that's the kind of stuff that builds character, right? I was here at the Garden bright and early to welcome everyone who made the 901 Day kickoff a super event!
