Caps (Stropharia rugosoannulata) can be grown on wood chips in an
outdoor garden bed and can grow up to 5 pounds each. They are hearty
producers through the spring, summer, and fall. They are good companions
to vegetable crops which offer them some shade.
Ben and Nichole Dickey
of Dickey Farms will be demonstrating this simple method for growing
wine caps at home. Kits will be available for purchase after class for
$25, cash or check only.
Class will be held outdoors rain or shine;
please dress appropriately.
Pre-payment due by March 6th. MBG members
$20/non-members $25. Call 636-4128 for more info or to register.
