Sustainable sites and landscapes encompass a set of practices that are responsive to the environment and help benefit the health of communities through environmentally sensitive, socially responsible, and economically feasible practices.

Alan J. Wyatt, RLA, ASLA, LEED-AP, is a practicing landscape architect with over thirty years and 1400 projects of experience in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and Sustainable Planning & Design. As a steward of the natural and built environment, Mr. Wyatt has participated in and designed sustainable sites and landscapes for homes, parks, schools, hotels, offices, retail centers, waterways, and natural areas, as well as the development of new planned sustainable communities. Mr. Wyatt has given numerous presentations to civic groups, master gardener programs, graduate students, professional associations, and others on the topics of “Sustainable Sites & Landscapes,” “Water Sensitive Urban Design,” and “Green Infrastructure - Water Resources and Storm Water Management.”
