longer does soldering require a set costing hundreds of dollars. For an
equipment investment of under $50, all kinds of creative doors can be
opened to you, once you learn how to use a Butane Micro-Torch for silver
Tools required for class are a Butane Micro-torch and fuel
(available at Home Depot, Lowes, kitchen supply stores) and a SOFT fire
brick to work on (if you do not have one, the instructor will have
bricks available for purchase at class.) If you have a jeweler's saw,
hammers, and files, please bring them. There will be tools to use in
class, but they will be shared. Safety glasses are recommended. Please
wear cotton/natural fiber clothing or bring a work apron. Students will
take home a completed project.
Class size is limited, so be sure to
reserve your spot ASAP.
